St. Pete/Clearwater, FL- Visit St. Pete/Clearwater is bringing sand to the beach when International Pow Wow invades Los Angeles this year.
The official DMO for the country's most visited Gulf Coast destination will have strong representation at this year's Pow Wow, with a variety of visuals and advertising initiatives in place to showcase the area.
"We're very excited about our placements at this year's Pow Wow," said DT Minich, VSPC's Executive Director. "If anyone isn't familiar with the St. Pete/Clearwater area or our brand, they will be by the time they leave this show."
For the second straight year, VSPC will sponsor Pow Wow's message centers. The sleek centers are placed in the main lobby, the press room and in lounges and will feature 37 total units backlit with images of the St. Pete/Clearwater area's white-sand beaches and bustling arts scene. In addition to rebranding screensavers, each computer in every center will feature home pages that direct toward VisitStPeteClearwater.com.
VSPC will also co-host an evening event, along with Lee County, another of Florida's Gulf Coast destinations.
VSPC has contracted with L.A Live entertainment and event company to create custom video to run throughout the show and the party. These videos are 30 and 90 second spots and will be broadcast throughout the four days of Pow Wow, with clips showcasing images from the area, along with destination accolades.
While exhibiting, VSPC's leisure travel staff will be joined by eight hotel partners, all of whom will be uniformly branded as St. Pete/Clearwater, in a backlit booth with 100 feet of marketing décor and area images.
