Travel agents will have the chance to win an eight night holiday in Samoa if they register and complete the European Union funded South Pacific Specialist Programme by 12th June, 2015.
The South Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO) will launch this exciting opportunity for travel agents at the Samoa Tourism Exchange (STE) which will be held in Asia from 12th to 14th May 2015.
The eight night's holiday in Samoa includes a two night's stay each at Sinalei Reef Resort, Aga Reef Resort, Return to Paradise and Coconut Beach Resort and Spa. Transfers and a tour will be provided by Samoa Scenic.
The SPTO is working in collaboration with the Samoa Tourism Authority (STA) to entice travel agents to complete the online specialist programme as well as to assist the STA to increase awareness on how to 'Holiday the Samoan Way'.
SPTO Chief Executive Ilisoni Vuidreketi stated the incentive is a great collaboration between the SPTO and the STA in their bids to add value to their products.
“We are very pleased to be able to launch this incentive at the Samoa Tourism Exchange and we are equally pleased to be able to support the Samoa Tourism Authority to offer such a lucrative holiday”, Mr. Vuidreketi continued.
“We make it our business to support the initiatives of the NTO's and we believe the South Pacific Specialist Programme will assist our partners entice more visitors to their shores through travel agents that know how to sell the South Pacific brand”, Mr. Vuidreketi added.
The South Pacific Specialist Programme (SPSP) funded by the European Union through the Pacific Regional Training and Capacity Building Programme (PRTCBP) is an accreditation program that provides travel agents with the opportunity to develop and enhance their knowledge on the various tourism products and services that are available throughout the tropical South Pacific. The online program is aimed at helping travel agents to increase their confidence and ability to sell the South Pacific with confidence and passion. There are currently 361 South Pacific Specialists worldwide.
