Panache Cruising In Alsace 06 Nov 2013
Spring 2014 Solo Traveller Specail Offer Aboard Panache In Holland

European Waterways

Luxury hotel barge operator European Waterways has waived the single supplement on its four cruises through Holland aboard Panache in April 2014.

For solo travellers wishing to join family, friends, or other passengers, with a cabin all to themselves, no single supplement will apply on any of the 6-night cruises aboard the stylish, 12-passenger Panache, departing 6, 13, 20 and 27 April 2014.

Says European Waterways' Managing Director, Derek Banks: "There is no reason why solo travellers should not have the opportunity to enjoy 'the hotel barging experience' with like-minded couples and small groups. Holland is an ideal destination for a cruise in the Spring, with the striking colours of the tulip fields displayed at their best. A visit to the famous Keukenhof Gardens, the Medieval town of Gouda and the Royal Delft Pottery are highlights included in our shore excursion programme."

The fully-crewed Panache - fitted out in traditional yacht style - has 6 en suite cabins, a large sun deck with spa pool and 12 bicycles for guests' use to explore the towpaths.

Pricing leads in at £3,190 per person, saving £1,100, and includes all meals, wines, an open bar, daily escorted excursions and local transfers. Whole barge charters are also available.

The new 60-page, European Waterways' 2014 Brochure - and accompanying price insert - has been launched this month, together with a DVD featuring a selection of quality, short videos, that help convey the ambience of the "hotel barging experience". About European Waterways

The hotel barging experience is different from large vessel river cruising. It offers a slower paced, "gentle voyage of discovery" along the more intimate canals and waterways of Europe. European Waterways is Europe's largest all-inclusive luxury hotel barging group, offering cruises in nine countries and carrying over 2,000 passengers a year. Founded nearly 40 years ago, they own and operate a fleet of luxury hotel barges and market cruises in France, Italy, Scotland, Ireland, England, Germany, Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg.  Pioneers in hotel barging, they were the first company to operate a hotel barge on the Canal du Nivernais in Burgundy, and the "chateau region" of the Loire Valley. It is also the only cruise company offering hotel barge cruises in Scotland and in the Venetian lagoon and River Po valley.
