Fall in love with UK attractions and experiences this Valentine with £25 off from The National Lottery
January 2022: The National Lottery is funding great days out at attractions and experiences across the UK, so whether a memorable first date, shared experience with a true love or date with a mate, there's never been a better excuse to go all out this Valentine.
The National Lottery Days Out vouchers, which offer up to £25 off entry with a valid Lotto ticket through the VisitBritain shop at www.nationallotterydaysout.com, can be used to visit attractions close to home or explore further afield, and while you are making memories you will also be sharing the love by helping to support UK tourism.
There are hundreds of Valentine destinations to choose from, all perfect for lovers of life, and if not your date, you will at least fall in love with all the UK has to offer, including;
- Lovebirds who wish to take to the air should head to iFly at Bear Grylls Adventure in the West Midlands, or for a more luxurious flight hop aboard the lastminute.com London Eye for a 135 metre high view of London's iconic skyline.
- Strolling hand-in-hand through the many lovingly created spaces at RHS Bridgewater or a visit to Leeds Castle in Kent, considered the world's most romantic castle, is sure to revive both heart and soul.
- Those looking for a few tips on romance from one of history's most astute observers of love may benefit from a trip to the Jane Austen Centre in Bath, or hop on an Ullswater Steamer to soak up the wonder of the Lake District, a landscape that inspired the romantic poets Wordsworth and Coleridge.
- Lovers of the big screen can indulge their passion with a Game of Thrones tour from Belfast, and visits to Harewood House, Shrek's Adventure Tour and Madame Tussauds London or Blackpool.
- If not in the arms of a loved one, breathless wonder can be found in the baroque majesty of The Painted Hall at the Old Royal Naval College Greenwich, and for street art lovers, Where The Wall offers a tour of Banksy's home town, Bristol.
- Those whose first love is sport should head to the home of British motorsport for The Silverstone Experience, or to Anfield for a Liverpool Football Club Stadium Tour, while for love more cerebral try Bletchley Park, the home of the WWII code breakers, or the ultimate prehistoric enigma, Stonehenge.
- And if your loved one fails to get the heart pumping, the London Dungeon and those in Edinburgh and York, or the rides at Drusillas in East Sussex and Gullivers Resort in Milton Keynes are sure to do the trick.
Every week National Lottery players raise more than £30 million for Good Causes and this funding has supported 94 of the top 100 most visited tourist attractions in the UK** including Stonehenge, SS Great Britain, Giants Causeway and Bletchley Park.
The National Lottery Days Out campaign is being run in collaboration with VisitBritain to support the domestic tourism industry.
