Sponsored Press Trip to Papua New Guinea Offered

Reef and Rainforest Tours Ltd

Reef & Rainforest Tours has been specialising in natural history travel for nearly 30 years. We are a small tour operation offering tailor-made and group tours to over 25 destinations.

Having offered the destination for over 25 years, Reef & Rainforest has become the UK's top tour operator for Papua New Guinea (PNG) and is keen to show more people that truly last frontier of travel. We have a certain number of slots to take journalists to PNG during 2018 and invite approaches from interested parties.

Reef & Rainforest would be happy to consider applications from journalists with cast-iron commissions from quality publications. Flights, accommodation and other services will be provided for the right applicants.

Most people were unaware that Benedict Allen - the British explorer who took Frank Gardner (the BBC's wheelchair-bound chief security correspondent) to PNG and who was recently "rescued" from PNG - was actually in PNG to lead a tour group for Reef & Rainforest. After the group had flown home Benedict had stayed on to do an independent project, namely to renew contact with an isolated tribe whom he'd last seen 30 years ago. It was only when he failed to turn up in Port Moresby that our agents called us, we raised the alarm with his agents, and the story hit the national media.

If you have interested your travel editor sufficiently to secure a PNG commission, please apply to Alan Godwin, Director, on 01803 866965 or alan@reefandrainforest.co.uk
