Les Fresques Brasserie, the much celebrated and historic restaurant at the heart of Evian Resort's Hotel Royal, at Lake Geneva, France has reopened, following an extensive refurbishment. Les Fresques has been thoughtfully redesigned, with the frescoes carefully restored by the French National Heritage Department to their original splendour. Les Fresques is now a vibrant and contemporary brasserie, offering the finest fresh cuisine.
The refurbishment of Les Fresques Brasseries is the first completed project as part of a full renovation of the Hôtel Royal.
The Finest Quality à la Carte Dining Headed by the accomplished and much admired Chef Patrice Vander, Les Fresques offers a truly unique and highly desirable dining experience. Chef Patrice is dedicated to his art, his expressive passion and personal touch brings an innovative and inspiring characteristic to delightful dishes created from only the highest quality, seasonal ingredient; Les Fresques Brasserie has no set menus, the brasserie is fully à la carte.
The hotel was built in 1909, and its original features are being restored. The project to restore Gustave Jaulme's frescoes, which adorn the ceilings of the brasserie, to their former glory, was a painstaking process, taking a month to complete. It was a worthwhile endeavour, the incredible features now strike such an amazing impression, dominating the room's ambiance, it seemed natural to rename the brasserie, formally known as 'La Suite' to 'Les Fresques Brasserie'.
The spectacular refurbishment is the work of renowned architect and interior designer François Champsaur, he has created a new, stylish identity for the brasserie, offering superior cuisine, in contemporary surrounds with historical heritage.
