Specials for Spring in Perisher Blue

Perisher

Spring is nearly here which means fantastic weather, excellent spring snow conditions and special deals on lift passes at Perisher Blue.

It has already been an exceptional season for ski resorts in Australia. The snow depth in NSW now sits at over two metres and it is not uncommon for snowfalls to continue well into September, improving conditions even further.

To celebrate, Perisher Blues Spring Pass will be launched this Saturday. This value pass will allow guests to ski the resort at a discounted price from the Saturday 21 August to 10 October 2004 and includes free travel on the Ski Tube Alpine Railway.

Skiers and snowboarders who are considering a trip to the resort during the spring month should get in quick. With these bumper conditions accommodation will be difficult to come by. Almost all on mountain accommodation has already been booked out for September, however visitors can inquire with Perisher Blue Snow Holidays in 1300 655 811 about staying at The Station Resort, which is located ten minutes out of Jindabyne.

The Station Resort offers guests a full range of conveniences, including ski, snowboard and clothing hire, all at excellent prices. Each lodge at the resort has ensuites, central heating, colour TV, and ample parking. 34 fully landscaped hectares can accommodate up to 1500 visitors. The Station Resort is a 40 minute drive to Perisher Valley, or a 20 minute drive to the Ski Tube.

Spring is widely considered to be an excellent time to ski or snowboard in Australia and with the longer days and some lifts open to 5.30pm. It is a great time to make a visit to the Snowy Mountains for the best fun you can have.

The ski season ends officially on the 10th of October, so skiers and boarders still have plenty of time to plan a trip. Considering what an incredible season Australian ski resorts are having, it would certainly be worth it.
