South Africa, Colorado and Poland Boost Crystal Lakes & Mountains programme 2004

Crystal Holidays

Eleven new destinations are added to the 2004 Crystal Lakes & Mountains programme following the growth in demand for alternatives to beach holidays. The new countries featured are South Africa, Colorado and Poland with five new destinations.

For the first time, Crystal are offering holidays to Cape Town with the Garden Route in South Africa as an add-on option; Breckenridge in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, USA, with activities from gold panning to white-water rafting; Zakopane in the Tatra Mountains in Poland with Krakow as an add-on option.

There are also new resorts in the more traditional Alpine and European lakes areas: Les Arcs in the Alps, St Lary in the Pyrenees, Thonon and Sciez-sur-L�man on Lake Geneva, all in France. In the Mediterranean, the medieval coastal town of Dubrovnik is also new. In the Czech Republic Crystal offers short-breaks to the Christmas Markets in Praque and in Austria to Vienna.

Crystal has also introduced flights from Heathrow to Denver (USA), Cape Town (SA), Rijeka (Croatia) and Toulouse (Pyrenees) and new flights from Gatwick to Krakow (Poland), Rome (Abruzzo), Dubrovnik (Croatia) and Toulouse. Manchester to Dubrovnik flights are also new.

Product Director, Gareth Crump, said �With our latest edition we now offer the largest selection of resorts not just in traditional lakes and mountains areas, but also further afield, both in Europe, North America and South Africa. Additionally, we have increased the well established part of our programme with 7 new tours in Italy, Austria, France and Norway.�

He continued: �Also for the first time we offer accommodation for people in wheelchairs and we are planning to increase this part of the programme in the next few years�.

Prices start from �288 for 7 nights� self-catering in the 3 star Doria Apartments in Garda, Italy, departing on 5th May from Gatwick including transfers.
