LANTERN & LARKS OPENS NEW SITE IN SOMERSET
Fourth UK location for luxury glamping business
Lantern & Larks is opening its fourth glamping site in April 2016, amidst the picturesque rolling hills of Somerset.
The tried and tested formula of picturesque rural locations, high-grade 6-berth tents and hot & cold running water has appealed to scores of visitors since Lantern & Larks opened their first sties in spring 2014. Just one of last summer's glowing reviews said “Utterly brilliant! Beautiful, peaceful, warm, comfortable, you have thought of everything! Thoroughly recommend.”
The new site in Kittisford Barton near Wellington, Somerset is located on a 260-acre organic farm with the Blackdown Hills AONB as a backdrop. Half an hour west of Taunton, 10 minutes from junction 26 of the M5, some of the delights of the Somerset/Devon border are within easy range including the beaches at Minehead & Weston-super-Mare, Bridgwater Bay Saltmarshes, Cheddar Gorge & the National Trust's Dunster Castle & Water Mill.
All Lantern & Larks' colonial-style tents sleep 6 people in three bedrooms (double, twin & bunk) and also have a large living/dining area, fully equipped kitchen with running water, log burning range, WC & shower with hot & cold running water and a large wooden deck at the front. At Kittisford Barton there will be 5 tents dotted around a 12-acre field.
NOTE TO EDITORS
Lantern & Larks other sites are at Sweffling Hall Farm, Suffolk, the Forest of Bowland, Lancashire and in the Walled Garden at Exton Park, Rutland.
