Sofitel Macau is partner of Global Flying Hospitals

Sofitel Macau At Ponte 16

Global Flying Hospitals is establishing its Asia Region Head Office in Macau SAR, placing it close to many developing countries and allowing easy access to China based aircraft refurbishing and servicing firms.

As part of this partnership, some actions have been planned for 2012. Among the marketing activities, Sofitel Macau At Ponte 16 will offer accommodations to the charity delegates.

This partnership will also allow Sofitel Macau to demonstrate to its guests and more widely in China, its strong social responsibility. "We are pleased to announce this partnership which illustrates perfectly our will to involve ourselves in humanitarian actions and I can only wish that this project be developed in the whole region" explained Michel Molliet, Vice President Sofitel Greater China. With a strong network of 20 hotels in China, Sofitel could indeed launch a new dynamic in this partnership.

Inventing the Future

Global Flying Hospitals (GFH) is inventing the future with medical aviation, in an aggressive and exciting model of world change.  Humanitarian medical charities have functioned with a piecemeal approach for decades, providing one and two week medical missions to developing countries to treat patients suffering serious medical conditions.  However, within this last decade our world has progressively and substantially worsened and our population is increasing at one billion every 12 years.

The New Global Paradigm

Global Flying Hospitals was founded in 2001 by Neill Newton, an Australian, international business consultant, author and pilot. He had a vision for only one aircraft and yearly multiple medical missions, yet now woefully inadequate in our complex 2012 world.  Today, with his International CEO; Kelly Barker and the management team, GFH has been repositioned into becoming the medical logistics resource and training model for governments of developing countries, and medical charities working within.
