Snowdonia's Timeless Treasures

Attractions of Snowdonia

You are invited by Attractions of Snowdonia to immerse yourself in the culture and heritage of North Wales' timeless treasures, as you get under the surface of Snowdonia.

We can offer two night stays for a couple or family, including your overnight accommodation and a packed schedule of Snowdonia discoveries built around you. With something to suit everyone, take a look at what we have to offer:

ADVENTURE INTO HISTORY AT LECHWEDD SLATE CAVERNS

Walk in the shoes of the Victorians and find out what it was like to be part of the industrial revolution at the historic Llechwedd Slate Caverns. The Miners' Tramway will take you half a mile into the mine where you will find out about the underground working techniques of 150 years ago. You will also get the opportunity to descend almost 500 feet underground in Europe's steepest mining cable railway where Sion, the ghostly guide, will lead you through the vast chambers of the Deep Mine.

GET SPINNING AT TEFRIW WOOLLEN MILLS

Learn how to weave, watch hand spinning demonstrations and find out about traditional dyeing techniques at Tefriw Woollen Mills. Opened in 1859 by Thomas Williams, the working mill museum is owned and run by his descendants who generate their own electricity to carry out the fleece to fabric process of manufacturing traditional fabrics.

DISCOVER THE SECRETS OF HISTORIC PLAS CADNANT GARDENS

Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens and Holiday Cottages in Anglesey is a 10 acre treasure just waiting to be discovered. Explore the magical gardens, wander through the wooden glade and pause beside a bewitching stream of natural pools and waterfalls to feel truly at one with nature.
