Snow-Lovers Seeking A New Challenge Or Career This Winter Could Find Just What They�re Looking For In An Extraordinary Course Being Offered By One UK Adventure Sports Operator In The New Year

Fife-based Peak Leaders has boldly ventured into the Far East with a 10-week programme in the Japanese resort of Myoko.

At the end of the course � the only one of its kind in the country - successful candidates will have a skiing or snowboarding instructor qualification which will take them almost anywhere in the world.

With the credit crunch biting and many people taking redundancy pay-outs, courses of this kind have the dual appeal of improving people�s job prospects while doing something they love.

Japan is undiscovered country for many snow enthusiasts, but Myoko is the place to be � incorporating NINE resorts and renowned as powder heaven, with a seasonal average of 13m of snow.

The course runs from January 17 to March 28, includes return flights and 3-star accommodation, plus a packed itinerary that will improve technique and confidence while working towards an invaluable qualification.

It�s recommended that skiers and boarders undertaking the course be competent at intermediate level. During the 10 weeks, they will complete the British Association of Snowsports Instructors� level one and two qualifications, which are internationally recognised and respected.

The course � costing �6,500 - also includes off-piste and backcountry modules and students are on the doorstep of the best parks in Japan.

The resort is famous for its hot springs � the perfect place to relax � and, for something a bit more hectic, there are more than 40 restaurants plus an eclectic nightlife scene, including karaoke bars, of course!
