The atmosphere and excitement in the Western Canadian ski resorts this week has been building with skiers and boarders revelling in huge dumps of snow. The skies have been very generous to Canada and huge dumps of the white stuff has meant one of the best early ski season conditions for 10 years.
These excellent early conditions and the forecast for a great season ahead is just awesome news, says Frontier Ski Managing Director, Sandra Potter.
A series of storms has brought over three feet of fresh snow to Whistler and the build up to Saturdays opening is increasing. The Rockies have also benefited by storms and near record snowfalls for the time of year has meant that all lifts at Lake Louise are fully operating.
Frontier Ski has some last minute availability for anyone wanting to get out to the resorts next week and take advantage of the early snow and great prices. For departures on or between November 24 to December 12, a 7 night stay at the Banff Whistler Inn in Banff, is 594 per person including scheduled flights, transfers and accommodation for two people and an early booking discount. A supplement of 12 per person is applicable for Saturdays and Wednesdays.
