Slip Into Something More Comfortable On A His & Hers Short Break In NSW

Destination NSW

Be it your cossie, a winery, an abseiling harness or a spa - whatever either of you slip into its bound to be more comfortable and fun than your everyday work garb.

Within three hours drive of Sydney you can slip into some great destinations that are not only the perfect antidote for a busy life but a perfect pre-Christmas treat to yourselves.

Theres great stuff to do individually and together. So ditch the 70 hour working week and book front row seats to a sunset rather than D-grade seats to a Monday morning meeting.

If you choose the Central Coast one of you may enjoy a few hours horseriding through an ancient rainforest while the other hits the beach at Terrigal.

If you decide to go slightly further afield and slip into the Hunter Valley, an afternoon of golf and fresh air may be tempting for him while for her, a wine and cheese tasting in a vineyard may be the order.

Decide to head south - perhaps a spot of fishing for him at Sussex Inlet will while away the hours, while for her, a lazy afternoon in one of the seaside cafs with a good mag will do the trick.

Alternatively, he may thrill at the challenge of white water rafting the Shoalhaven rapids while the challenge for her will be keeping the credit cards in check as she negotiates the great antique stores around Bowral and Berry.

Go west and you may decide to go for adventure. In the Blue Mountains, a host of water sports awaits the more adventurous him and her - canyoning Tigersnake and Kalang Falls, wetsuit caving with a torch, rock climbing 100 metre gorges and abseiling waterfalls.

Whatever boxes you ticked during the day its great to reunite over a gin and tonic on your own private balcony before an intimate dinner. Cap it off with a luxurious spa bath together and soak away the day with a good red. Moonlighting now has a whole new meaning.

So schedule some time in your diary for a pre-Christmas Short Break with your partner and break away from routine and the working week.
