Together, the entire Skiworld resort staff teams across France, Austria and Switzerland will be taking part in a huge challenge to ski and snowboard 16,000km in an attempt to raise £16,000 to support youth snow-sports charity Snow-Camp. The teams in the Austrian and Swiss Alps will take on the challenge on the 8th April and French Alps teams on the 15th April 2019. There will be a total of 317 overseas staff participating across 15 ski resorts.

Why 16,000km?

This is the distance between Skiworld's top Canadian resort of Whistler, and our resorts in the Alps. Each participant's mileage will be tracked using a GPS app, submitted as one resort team, and will also be given mini challenges throughout the day.

The winning team will be chosen based on how many kilometres they managed to complete as well as how much they manage to raise for Snow-Camp, with a standout individual winner receiving a £250 gift voucher to spend with our equipment partner Absolute-Snow.

Snow-Camp are dedicated to changing the lives of underprivileged inner-city young people with the power of skiing, snowboarding, life-skills training, qualifications and vocational opportunities – positively increasing their motivations and aspirations, broadening horizons and enabling them to gain employment in the snowsports industry and beyond.
