If you're still travelling Thursday to Sunday for your ski weekend, then you're missing out on the biggest new trend in skiing. The 'Reverse Ski Weekend' has been one of the most popular choices in 2017 by Kaluma Travel guests looking for a short break.

“Hotels and chalets have higher occupancy at weekends so can afford to charge a premium. However, the start of the week is rarely booked and so there are better prices available.”

Lumb also points out that there is more space on the slopes if you travel on a Reverse Ski Weekend:

“Why share the slopes with day-trippers who only go to ski resorts on a Saturday or Sunday? You can ski on the same slopes and have them to yourselves, with shorter queues and more space to show off your style or tear up the powder!”
