1. The harbour & marina at Castellammare del Golfo: brimming with energy, it is the perfect place to soak up the atmosphere, the views and the sunshine. Enjoy a gelato and the 1km stretch of golden sands beneath your toes.
2. The ancient fishing village of Scopello:  Famous for its old 'tonnara' it is also a great place to go scuba diving, see the famous Faraglioni & you may spot the gorgeous George Clooney - Oceans 13 was filmed here!
3. ZingaroNational Park: A fantastic day out for all the family, pop on your walking boots and go spot all the wildlife that inhabits this natural beauty spot. 
4. Explore the water: Either take to the high seas yourself and hire a boat or take one of the many organised trips and see this region of Sicily from the water. 
5. San Vito Lo Capo: Said to be Sicily's most beautiful beach, it is also home to the annual Couscous festival!
6. Terme Segestana:  Indulge in the natural thermal hot baths in the natural sulphuric water and relax by enjoying a well-deserved massage.
7. Ancient life explored: Sicily is an ancient land and history here is found in abundance. Visit the Temples in Agrigento or the Greek archaeological park in Selinunte for a day of immersion into life before Wi-Fi and Facebook!
8. Lovely village of Trapani:  Almost completely destroyed in WWII, the beautiful Cathedral San Lorenzo is most certainly worth visiting along with the amazing salt and saline fields.
9. Egadi Islands:  This small collection of islands lies just of the coast of Trapani. Hop on a boat and in just 30minutes you too can explore these islands where you can swim, explore, cycle and dive! 
10. The city of Palermo:  This vibrant city oozes with ancient history and is home to some of the most interesting things to see and do. Visit the Catacombs of Cappucini, catch a show at the Teatro Massimo and muse at the artwork found at the ModernArtGallery.
