Six Continents Hotels today announced the re-branding of Parkroyal Perth to Crowne Plaza Perth, marking the latest step in the expansion of the Groups global brands across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
The newly re-branded hotel will be the fourth Crowne Plaza in Australia, joining Crowne Plaza Terrigal, Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach and Crowne Plaza Canberra. Six Continents Hotels plans to more than double the number of Crowne Plaza hotels in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific over the next six months, adding to the 18 existing Crowne Plaza hotels in the Asia Pacific region and more than 150 Crowne Plaza properties worldwide.
Located only 200 metres from the Swan River with extensive views, the hotel has the closest riverside proximity of any major hotel in the Perth precinct and is just minutes from the city centre. The 191-room hotel is also recognised for its excellent service and features alfresco riverside dining at Gusti Restaurant and Bar.
The re-branding process carries a strong emphasis on brand standards in service and product, creating a consistency across all Crowne Plaza properties in the region, said Six Continents Hotels Chief Operating Officer for Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific, Phil Lee.
"Crowne Plaza Perth joins a portfolio that will provide further benefits to the stakeholders, add significant value to our guests experience with the introduction of Crowne Plaza products, creating a solid platform for additional expansion throughout the region. Phil Lee added. ENDS
