Event Hospitality & Entertainment has been recognised for delivering exceptional customer service with 19 of its hotels across Australia and New Zealand receiving a 2018 Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor, six of those named Hall of Fame winners.

Only 1 in 10 businesses on the world's largest travel site receive the Certificate of Excellence, which has been awarded annually in June since 2011. To determine recipients, TripAdvisor use an algorithm to measure the quality, quantity and recency of user generated reviews.

To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor rating of at least four out of five. Those who receive a Certificate of Excellence for five consecutive years are named Hall of Fame winners.

Event's three Australian and three New Zealand properties named Hall of Fame winners for 2018 are QT Sydney, QT Museum Wellington, Rydges Mount Panorama Bathurst, Rydges Auckland, Rydges Wellington and Rydges Newcastle.
