The special menu will also feature cocktails inspired by zesty local flavours, along with champagne and Monti's original list of jazzy cocktails, all created by Monti's resident mixologist, Joseph T. Millar.

For guests keen to get a sneak preview of what to expect, Monti will be offering a one-week special National Day celebratory menu in the lead up to National Day, available from 1 August until 8 August (inclusive), and features a choice of a five or six-course set menu at $120++ and $150++ per person respectively.  

Monti's special National Day menu puts a spin on one of Singapore's most popular dishes, one that has excited the finest palates and personalities in the culinary industry – The Chilli Crab. Monti's unique creation, the Chilli Crab Agnolotti with spicy chilli crab sauce, curry leaf, and Sawakani (Japanese fresh water crab), is delicious and satiating, whilst yet delicate and zesty to taste.

Complete the experience at Monti, with a specially created cocktail, the Kampong Boy Cocktail with lemongrass, kaffir lime leaf, passionfruit, grapefruit, rum, triple sec and tequila, which will surely enhance the evening, and make one truly appreciate the Little Red Dot's cultural diversity. While the Crab Agnolotti is part of the set menu, it will also be available for order from the a-la-carte menu at $32++, along with the Kampong Boy Cocktail at $24.

Vegetarians fret not, Monti has created a special five course menu for $120++ which includes dishes such as the Pumpkin Tortelli with Taleggio fondue, parmesan crisp, walnut and black truffle, Vegetarian Parcel with asparagus, baby spinach, capsicum, cherry tomato on vine, Portobello mushroom, onsen egg and balsamic reduction, and Azuki Panna Cotta with Madagascar vanilla, raspberry granite and mint. As with the other set menus, on 9 August, this vegetarian set will be available for $188++ per person, which will be inclusive of two glasses of champagne.

After dinner, guests may proceed up to the rooftop to get an unobstructed view of the National Day fireworks, where the space will be converted into a bar. Minimum spending will apply.

With a breathtaking firework extravaganza and a specially crafted menu that vaunts the distinctive flavours of the nation, let this National Day be a tantalising treat for all senses.
