Singapore has once more picked up sought-after accolades in the 2017 International Traveller Readers' Choice Awards earlier this month.
The annual awards recognise the top performers in the travel and tourism industry and are voted by International Traveller's well-travelled and informed readers.
Solidifying Singapore's reputation as one of Australia's favourite holiday destinations, the island city was named:
- 'Favourite Stopover'
- 'Favourite Airport' – Singapore Changi Airport
Singapore also tied with Greece as a Finalist in the 'Best Food and Wine Destination' category.
Commenting on the win, Sharon Lam, Area Director Oceania Singapore Tourism Board, said, “It's fantastic that International Traveller's readers have once again chosen Singapore as their top choice for these categories. We're both thrilled and humbled to stand alongside the industry's top tourism offerings.
