20 MAY, Sydney, Australia: Singapore has taken home top honours at the 2016 International Traveller Readers' Choice Awards, having been named the winner in several categories.
The annual awards which recognise the best of the best in the industry, are voted by International Traveller's well informed and adventurous readers, so are prized accolades.
Proving that Singapore is one of Australia's favourite holiday destinations, the Lion City was named:
- 'Best Place for a Short Break'
- 'Best Stopover Destination'
- 'Best Airport in the World' – Singapore Changi Airport
- 'Best Luxury Hotel' – Raffles Singapore
Singapore was also a finalist in the 'Best Place for Food and Wine' category.
