Madera County, Calif. (May 12, 2017) – The Sierra Vista Scenic Byway, recently featured as a California “Hidden Gem” is a 100 mile stretch of road that sits between Yosemite National Park and Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks and passes by granite domes, glaciated peaks, and high mountain meadows and only an hour and a bit from Fresno.
Lush green grass spotted with wildflowers beckons explorers to the Sierra Vista Scenic Byway. Now is the perfect time to enjoy a spring drive along a small section of the byway.
“We recommend a drive to the Mile High Vista to enjoy a panoramic view of snow-capped mountain tops, stunning views overlooking a forested landscape and the birth of spring”, said Therese Williams, Public Relations Director for Visit Yosemite Madera County.
