Charlestown's Shipwreck Treasure Museum will be hosting a relaxed Santa session at 9:30am until 11am on Sunday, 22nd December as part of their Christmas experience.
Children who don't always enjoy the hustle and bustle of busy places and visitor attractions will have the chance to meet Santa in a relaxed environment.
“For children with autism, ADHD, hearing or visual impairments and many other conditions the relaxed sessions provide the perfect opportunity to meet Santa Claus in a calm, safe and quite place,” said Shipwreck Treasure Museum's Ian Lay.
“Families will have the chance to explore the UK's longest tunnel of festive lights, which will be especially dimmed for the relaxed session, providing a seasonal sensory experience,” he added.
Whilst exploring the enchantingly lit tunnels children will also have the chance to meet Alabaster Snowball the Elf and take part in some Christmas arts and crafts.
- Tickets cost £8 with a free accompanying carer and can be booked online in advance at Cornish Riviera Box Office. The relaxed session will take place from 9:30am until 11am on 22nd

Notes to editors
The Santa experience takes place within the tunnels beneath the Shipwreck Treasure Museum and although height and width of tunnels is sufficient those that suffer from claustrophobia should be aware. The management would also like to highlight that the tunnels are not suitable for wheelchairs due to limited access in the Grade II listed building.
