Back by popular demand, Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort gears up with UNICEF to hold Sheraton 3K Kuta Beach Fun Run, this time runners are invited to join the move with the theme of "Let's run for a better future of our children!"
BALI, INDONESIA - 16 September 2013 - Following the overwhelming success of the first Sheraton 3K Kuta Beach Fun Run, Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort with UNICEF will bring together the fun run happening, this time for a better cause. Around 1,500 running enthusiasts are aimed to participate on this healthy movement on Saturday, 21 September 2013 at 6.30AM. To enroll, all participants simply need to register on http://www.sheratonbalikuta.com/forms/unicef and to contribute IDR 50,000 for charity. Other than the race, beach-lovers are also invited to savor Kuta's longest pizza specially prepared by the resort's creative culinary team for sale. All the funds raised from registration fee and pizza sales will be fully donated to help the children in need through UNICEF Check Out for Children Challenge initiative. Before the race starts, participants will be led in a fun pre-race warm-up by the chief trainer at Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort. The top three finishers in each division and lucky draw winners will receive plentiful of prizes, such as medals, exclusive adidas running gear, round-trip flight tickets from Denpasar to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta, notebook by Acer Indonesia stay and spa experience at the resort, as well as shopping and dining vouchers at beachwalk Kuta.
To add even more excitements, the resort's imaginative culinary team will showcase the longest Pizza on Kuta Beach and each slice can be purchased by all participants for any price they are willing to spend of which will be fully devoted for donation. Afterwards, healthy savory and sweet degustation are available for sale on the food stalls with affordable price range starts from IDR 10,000. As fully committed to the UNICEF Check Out for Children Challenge, all the funds collected will be completely bestowed to the program.
