The Senior newspaper has launched Australia's first weekly travel e-newsletter for seniors, called Senior Traveller Extra.

The newsletter will be an important companion to the Senior Traveller lift-out which appears in all State editions of The Senior.

Travel Editor Sue Preston said the newsletter was a response to seniors' increasing use of the internet. The weekly edition would also go a long way to satisfying seniors' insatiable appetite for travel deals, topical news and information and new tourism product.

The Senior is published monthly by Fairfax Media and distributed free to thousands of outlets across Australia. The Senior Traveller has a CAB-audited circulation of 414,867.
