Excitement is building toward the grand unveiling of the US National Parks Service Centennial celebrations.
The Organic Act of 1816 created the National Parks Service to "to conserve the scenery and the natural and historic objects and wildlife therein, and to provide for the enjoyment of the same in such manner and by such means as will leave them unimpaired for the enjoyment of future generations”
The UK's expert small group tour operator to North America; Grand American Adventures has taken this principle entirely to heart as it guides groups of no more than 13 people on low impact / high excitement itineraries across more parks than any other company from west to east and north to south. Regional tour leaders head every adventure with specialist native guides and wildlife experts, sensitive to the needs of preserving the parks, many of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, whilst ensuring guests are drawn into the very heart of what makes these environments of unique world importance.
