Iran: Desert stars and solitude
The aim of this ground-breaking expedition is to carry out a 220km east to west traverse of the otherworldly landscape of the Dasht-e-Lut. You'll pass over imposing dunes, echoing rock corridors, wind-hewn kaluts, meteorite fields and rocky plateaux.
Pioneered by Secret Compass and only having only ever been completed by a handful of adventurous travellers since, crossing the Dasht-e-Lut on foot remains a rare achievement. Travellers who are passionate about Persia and intrigued by Iran, can experience the geology, the desert stars and the solitude on this desert venture unlike any other.
Sinai: a Nomadic Desert Crossing
Adventurous travellers are invited to leave the luxuries of the Western World behind them and to embrace the life of Bedouin desert nomads on this minimalist culturally immersive expedition in Egypt's Sinai desert.
Equipped with nothing more than an open mind, and authentic Bedouin supplies the aims of this expedition is to trek between the Gulfs of Aqaba and Suez. Between sleeping under the stars, expedition team mates will scale Mt Sinai and Mt Catherine, Egypt's highest peak, en route. This the chance to experience authentic Arabian nights, on a deeply personal journey few travellers will seldom experience.
Chad: The Roof of the Sahara
Follow in the step's of explorer Wilfred Thesiger to trek Chad's Tibesti massif, an ancient land boasting pre-historic murals, volcanic craters, sand dunes and oases. The aim of this epic expedition is to reach and scale the summit of the Emi Koussi Volcano, the highest peak of the Sahara desert.
Supported by the Toubou people, this expedition will give explorers the chance to discover Chad's vast and remote desert landscape, and experience a part of Africa few will ever encounter.
