SeaLink Releases Their First-Ever South Australia Holiday & Tours Brochure Featuring Kangaroo Island

SeaLink Marine & Tourism

One of Australia’s largest tourism and transport companies, South Australian based SeaLink Travel Group has launched, under its holiday packaging arm SeaLink Holidays, a brand new 28-page South Australia holiday & tours brochure for 2013-14 specifically designed for the interstate market.

SeaLink launched the brochure at a spectacular starlight dinner cruise on board Captain Cook’s flagship vessel; Sydney 2000 on Sydney Harbour last night with over 80 selected Sydney based travel agents and media.

“We found there was a real need in the interstate market for more packaged South Australian holiday product and with SeaLink’s wide offerings of tourism and transport products in South Australia, including Kangaroo Island ferries and tours, Adelaide

Sightseeing tours and Captain Cook’s Murray River cruising, we have been able to package up some pretty fantastic packages that will suit everyone,” said Mr Dean Bagley, SeaLink’s

Product Development Manager.

“In addition to our own products, we have also included a range of other South Australian companies tours, activities and accommodation offerings throughout South Australia including Adelaide, Adelaide Hills, Barossa, Fleurieu Peninsula, Murray River, Yorke

Peninsula, Eyre Peninsula and of course Kangaroo Island,” he said

SeaLink’s Business Development Manager, Andy Meikle says the introduction of the new brochure with the twelve ready-to-go SA packages, plus all the other experiences, activities and accommodation choices which can be booked on an FIT basis has received a very warm welcome from the travel industry in the interstate markets.

“The twelve ready-to-go packages range from 4 Days/3 Nights for the Dolphins, Beaches and Wildlife Wonders Package to 9 Days/8 Nights for the Adelaide, Murray River and

Kangaroo Island Package and there’s lots in between, said Mr Meikle.

“Whether  it  be  snorkelling  with  dolphins  along  the  Glenelg  coastline,  swimming  with  Great

Whites out of Port Lincoln, walking along Seal Bay beach on Kangaroo Island amongst a colony or wild Australian SeaLions, or savoring a delicious food and wine experience at one of our famous wineries and cellar doors, we have a package that is as adventurous or as chilled-out as you like, he said.

“Organising a South Australian holiday has never been easier. SeaLink Holidays is certainly a one-stop-shop and if one of these packages doesn’t suit, we can always tailor-make one.

“We’ve gathered some of the best accommodation, tours, transport, self-drive options, activities and experiences that South Australia has to offer and compiled all the information and pricing into one brochure.

The brochure follows the recent announcement that SeaLink has commenced work on building a new $4m ferry terminal in Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island. This major project is a welcome announcement to Kangaroo Island visitors, residents and regular travellers and the building is expected to be finished before the end of the year and the peak travel season.
