Continuing to lead the way with premium wine dinners, Pan Pacific Perth is delighted to welcome chief wine maker Scott Hazeldine from Barrosa' Schild Estate to host a special gastronomy and wine dinner at the leading West Australian hotel.

While Scott's wines have been internationally recognised and awarded over the years, his primary focus is very much on getting wines into people's glasses that bring enjoyment and satisfaction. Having worked for brands such as Brown Brothers, St Hallett as well as developing the new Australian operation at The Colonial Estate with Bordeaux famed producer Jonathan Maltus, Scott could not turn down the opportunity to work with the Schild family's extensive vineyard holdings in the Barossa.”

Start the evening with arrival canapés before indulging in a three-course menu with matching wines from Schild Estate, featuring flavours created with fresh Australian local produce, envisioned by Head Chef, Paul Gaspa. Entrée is a crispy soft shell crab and corn risotto with coriander, spring onion and furikake, before moving onto the main course of tender beef cheek, artichoke, shallots and Alsace bacon. Finish the night with a delectable cheese board with all the favourites, including Jensen's Red and Maffra Cloth Aged Cheddar paired beautifully with Schild Estate “Pramie” Shiraz 2014.

Throughout the evening our host, Scott Hazeldine, will share his extensive wine knowledge, elaborate on the evening's wine pairing and share his insights of the wine industry.
