Tune Hotel Haymarket's win a further boost for the global brand



KUALA LUMPUR, 30 April 2013 - Four-month old Tune Hotel Haymarket, Edinburgh has scored its first big win by being named the New Hotel of the Year in Scotland by the Scottish Hotel Awards 2013.

 

Adding another feather to Tune Hotels' cap, the Award is an important boost for the hotel group that is currently present in five countries, with aggressive expansion plan into India, Japan and Australia later in the year, said its Group CEO Mark Lankester.

Celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year, the Scottish Hotel Awards are an independent event and organised by a professional team whose members have chaired and developed the process and event since 2003. Nominations came from a variety of sources including from the team of reviewers and judging experts, consumers, chefs, hoteliers and other industry contacts.

The Scottish Hotel Awards are thorough in its process with every single nominated hotel visited and stayed at while every individual nominee was met or interviewed. The organisers also carried out their own research and benchmarking to ensure only the best hotels win.

Tune Hotel Haymarket in Edinburgh, Scotland is the first of its UK hotels outside London, where it has four hotels located at Westminster, Liverpool Street, Kings Cross and Paddington.
