Celebrating Palm Springs' unique modernist heritage and architecture, Modernism Week Fall Preview returns to the city this October (18-21). Charles Phoenix: Super Duper Double Decker Bus Tour

With nine tours running across the four days, The Premier Double Decker Architecture Bus Tour is a clear and very popular staple of Modernism Week. This year as well as offering the architecture bus tour, the schedule includes a daily 'Charles Phoenix: Super Duper Double Decker Bus Tour'. Led by retro pop culture humourist Charles Phoenix, this spirited tour offers spectacular views of the city's mid-century modern houses, neighbourhoods and civic/commercial buildings, accompanied by Charles' regales of the 'glories and stories' of the legendary hotels and homes.

Modernism Week Featured Home: La Vie en Rose

Having created some of the most popular Modernism Week Show Houses over recent years, renowned interior designer Christopher Kennedy returns with the debut of his impressive renovation of a classic mid-century home. Built by the Alexander Construction Company in 1958, the property is located on the prestigious Rose Avenue in the glamourous Vista Las Palmas neighbourhood. Showcasing the signature design of Christopher and his team, this impressive renovation embodies sophisticated Californian glamour and oozes inspiration.

The Best of Mod With a TWIST

Having sold out for the past five years, Mod with a Twist is one event not to miss. In a series of 10-minute presentations, the evening event highlights the fascinating whimsy of mid-century life over a glass of wine. Funny and insightful, Mod with a Twist is sure to sell out quickly!

Framed Spaces Home Tour

Back for another year, the Framed Spaces Home Tour is the perfect way to explore the 'art' of living in the desert. As visitors explore these envy-inducing homes they'll get to take in the beauty of these amazing spaces and their framed views of the surrounding area.

Nod to Mod

Back with a brand-new show, Nod to Mod will see guests enjoy a diverse range of music, movies commercials and musicals from the forties, fifties and sixties as they enjoy a five-course immersive dining experience. Offering a taste of modernist life, this dinner event will transport guests back in time as they dance and sing the night away at the secret dining location 'Club Rouge'.
