The Scenic Azure has been purpose built for the sun-drenched waterways of Portugal's Douro River. Offering an intimate cruising experience for only 96 guests, the ship travels 11 days round trip - with no overnight sailing - from the World Heritage city of Porto to Vega de Terron over the Spanish border. Guests take in the vineyards, historic towns and villages and the rich culture this region has to offer. This newest Europe river cruise - 11 Day Unforgettable Douro – can be combined with Bordeaux and Seine river cruises plus extensions in Lisbon and a land tour from Porto to Madrid.

The Scenic Amber will also join the fleet in 2016 and sail the Main, Rhine, and Danube Rivers. The new design, launched so successfully this year with the Scenic Jasper and Scenic Opal, incorporates all of the impressive details of the original Scenic Space-Ships with several new eye-opening additions and boast the same all-inclusive luxury experience synonymous with all Scenic Space-Ships. All of the Space-Ships launched in 2015 and 2016 offer the largest suites on the rivers they sail as well as new vitality pools on the Sun Deck, butler service and unlimited complimentary beverages, full-size private balcony suites with exclusive Scenic Sun Lounges, and a choice of six dining options that include dégustation at Table La Rive, fine dining at Portobellos and more casual fare at River Cafe. Scenic's new laundry concierge service for 2016 entitles all river cruise guests in Europe and France to 1kg of laundry free on each cruise.
