SAVINGS of more than $5700 per person are now available through ecruising.travel on a 46-night voyage with Norwegian Cruise line from Denmark to Los Angeles with stops at many off-the-beaten-track ports.

The fly/cruise package begins on September 22, 2014, when Norwegian Star departs Copenhagen for 14 days of cruising around the Baltic and North Seas taking in ports in Norway, Britain’s Faroe Islands, Iceland, Scotland and Ireland before returning to Denmark.

The next sector of the voyage calls at Ponta Delgada in Portugal before crossing the Atlantic Ocean to St Thomas in the Caribbean, Miami and Cartagena in Colombia before a daylight crossing of the Panama Canal.

Continuing its itinerary of calling at unusual ports Norwegian Star then calls on Puntarenas in Coast Rica, Puerto Chiapas, Huatulco, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas in Mexico before disembarkation in Los Angeles.

The new price of $6989 per person twin share includes return air fares from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, with all taxes, two nights in the Marriott Hotel in Copenhagen and two nights in the Hilton Beach Resort in Los Angeles, plus all meals in freestyle dining with nine restaurants from which to choose.

Norwegian Star also has several pools, spas and hot tubs, a 24-hour fitness centre, jogging, basketball and volleyball courts, Internet café, casino and Kids Club.
