The UK market leader and Santa break specialist, Santa's Lapland will be offering families the chance to meet the real Santa live from Lapland over video call this Christmas.

The exciting news will ensure whether there are lockdowns locally, or across the entire UK over the next few months—families will still be able to experience some of the festive excitement that is seeing Santa in his snowy cabin.

The 10-minute video call will prove its genuine Lapland credentials, as an Elf leads the family through the snow and gets up-close with a reindeer, before going live to Santa's cabin for a personalised meeting with Santa himself.

Paul Carter, CEO of Santa's Lapland said;

“With restrictions increasing throughout the UK, many of us have been wondering how we will keep the magic of Christmas 2020 alive. We intend to help make it one to remember, by offering families the chance to meet Santa from the comfort and safety of their own home.

While no Christmas can compare to the sheer excitement of travelling to Lapland to visit Santa in his snowy cabin, where the reindeer are real, and the Northern Lights dance across the night sky. Families will now still be able to enjoy a taste of the real Lapland magic this Christmas.”

A personalised 'Santa, Live from Lapland' video call experience will be available for up to 4 children from £85 per family.

Booking will open from early November, but families can pre-register now for priority booking on the Santa's Lapland website.

Earlier this week, Santa's Lapland December 2020 trips to visit Santa in Lapland were suspended—following concerns that increasing COVID-19 safety measures and travel restrictions would take too much away from the magic of the experience. Santa's Lapland were pleased that many of their 2020 customers chose to postpone their trip to next year, but will be arranging refunds for those that want one.

Thanking their customers for their understanding and patience. The Lapland experience specialists stressed that their top priority has always been to keep everyone safe. Their intention is to continue to do right by their customers, and has been throughout the pandemic, with the measures set out in their 'In Safe Hands' campaign.

In 2021, once again families will be able to visit Santa in Lapland and fill Christmas with awe in the marvellous, winter wonderland. Santa's Lapland trips are available to reserve now with departures on 26 November to 24 December 2021, and deposits of just £150 per person.
