Sandra Shevey celebrates the Old Spitalfield Market as part of the `Story of London` weekend by participating in a pro bono walking tour and by reading prose and poetry about the market.

The prose and poetry readings have been part of Sandra`s markets remit for some years now and she is delighted that the idea of celebrating London via its rich tapestry of stories has now caught on.

Sandra has also become something of a walks` guru, and when people ask how a woman age 66 can look age 40 (with no help from beauty devices) she merely renders that creamy cat`s purr look of hers.

A real sphinx!
