San Want Moon Cake Gift Box presents a total of four flavor moon cake fillings with refinement. From the four flavors, we especially recommend to taste the creative mixture of "Noble Pineapple Paste with XO Sauce Filling" moon cake. The ingredients of this moon cake filling originates from the golden prized noble pineapple in Tainan Guan Temple, with a bold combination of the hotel’s handmade XO sauce. This new innovation even granted praise from the local epicure for its good taste. Once the moon cake enters into your mouth, a sequence of fragrant, fresh, salty, spicy, sour, sweet, and rich is gradually generated. The unexpected flavors makes people fall in love of the noble pineapple filling!

This year we also present an improved flavor from the previous years. "Rich Lotus Seed Paste with Chinese Wolfberry Filling" is a luxury upgrade using pure lotus seed, not only for a gentle and smooth texture in the mouth, but also for a better natural aroma. Thin golden crust layer coated with a smooth and sweet filling is the prime feature with the salted egg yolk acting as a finishing touch to neutralize the silky taste. The filling further adds in the nourishing Chinese wolfberry for health and flavor. “Chinese date paste with Longan Filling” is the widely popular traditional filling. When a golden ratio of Chinese date paste is modulated, the paste gives out a richness and sweetness with a pinch of fruity and woody aroma.
