San Francisco's historic Red and White Fleet Launches New Foreign Language Tours

The family-owned Red and White Fleet, San Francisco's original sightseeing adventure, has been sailing the waters surrounding the City by the Bay for more than 120 years. At this year's IPW, the fleet is proud to announce the addition of four more foreign language options to its popular multilingual daytime cruises, offering spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, and the San Francisco skyline.

New language options for Red and White Fleet's 1-hr Golden Gate Bay and 90-minute Bridge 2 Bridge Cruises include Hebrew, Vietnamese, Arabic and Indonesian. Exhibiting in IPW booth space 1801, the Red and White Fleet sales team would be happy to provide further details to anyone interested.

The Golden Gate Bay Cruise, as San Francisco's original sightseeing adventure, features a one-hour narrated cruise under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz Island, highlighting important “landmarks” of San Francisco history, including life at the Barbary Coast during the Gold Rush, the building of the Golden Gate Bridge, Angel Island's history as an immigration station and the Federal Penitentiary of Alcatraz. Guests can choose from 8-12 daily sailings starting at 10am. Prices are as follows: Adults (18+) = $28; Youth (5-17) = $18; and Children under five = free.

The Bridge 2 Bridge Cruise® allows guests to see San Francisco's incredible skyline in one amazing cruise. As the only cruise that sails under both the Golden Gate and Bay bridges, this 1½ hour loop passes the city's entire bay waterfront and features San Francisco's illustrious pastimes, unique architecture, natural history and Native American culture. Guests can choose from 1-4 daily sailings starting at around noon. Prices are as follows: Adults (18+) = $36; Youth (5-17) = $24; and Children under five = free.

Aboard both cruises, audio tour are available in 16 language options, namely English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian, Russian, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia and Vietnamese. The audio narratives are included in the cruise price.
