Temperatures in the three digits where you live? How about a summer refresher in San Francisco? The Summer of Love is in full bloom in the City by the Bay and San Francisco Travel has some suggestions for activities to add to your bucket list or new restaurants to sample in the newest edition of their digital visitor guide.

Offering a distinctive “insider tone,” the guide is filled with reasons to visit San Francisco this season from ways to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love to suggestions for Bay Area adventures including a road trip to Monterey.

The new guide is designed to reach more visitors earlier in the inspiration and trip-planning phases through strategic distribution via paid, owned and earned channels, and complements the in-market focus of the printed Official Visitors Planning Guide product.

Many of the articles in the new guide also link to deeper content on San Francisco Travel’s website. “As we developed the editorial content for this new guide,” noted ynn Bruni, vice president, Global Marketing Communications, “the goal was to match the content with articles that had high readership on our website and give readers a quick roadmap to access those stories.”
