Guided Tours of the Golden Gate Bridge Return – April 1 -Oct. 6, 2013

Guided tours of the landmark span returned April 1, 2013 for the 2013 spring-fall season.  The personally-guided, 45-minute tours, created by the team responsible for the award-winning Alcatraz Night Tour, include fascinating true stories about the bridge and the people who built it. The tours depart from the historic Round House, located at the southeast corner of the Golden Gate Bridge Plaza on the San Francisco side. The tours, which have garnered a 4.5/5 star rating on Yelp, delve into why the bridge is one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World and include first person accounts from the workers who overcame tremendous challenges and dangers to make “the bridge that couldn't be built” a reality.  The tours use state-of-the-art audio technology so that guides can speak in a normal, conversational tone and visitors can hear every word perfectly—even during noisy traffic hours on the bridge.
