Australia's leading gourmet providores Salt Meats Cheese are excited to present its latest in the series of Tutti A Tavola Chef's table events, together with their friend, renowned Italian Chef Massimo Mele. Tutti A Tavola affectionately means “everyone at the table,” an Italian tradition that aims to bring family and friends together for delicious food, a bit of fun and lots of wine!
At this month's Tassie edition, diners can expect to be taken on a culinary journey around Tasmania with an Italian twist. The theme was inspired by Massimo's latest trip to the “Apple Isle,” which saw the esteemed chef travel around regional Tasmania meeting the local farmers and artisan producers. Massimo's cooking style has always been produce driven, simple, fun and tasty and this time is no different.
The four course menu will showcase some of Massimo's favourite produce including Pure Black Beef from the far north west coast, Salmon Caviar from Huon Aqua, pork cheeks from Mount Gnoman Farm and fresh octopus from Stanley, just to name a few. This array of fine Italian fare will be perfectly paired with matching wine and beverages including Bay of fires Wines, House of Arras Tasmania Sparkling and Seven Sheds Brewery.
