Salt Meats Cheese has recently opened their fourth store in Drummoyne. This is the third store to open in 2015, following Surfers Paradise and Mosman.
The new store has Salt Meats Cheese sharing a space with Harris Farm, Hudson Meats and Sydney Fresh Seafood. 'We feel like this is a great fit for Salt Meats Cheese' says Co-Director Stefano de Blasi. 'The new location is a foodie hub, a place to pick up everything you need from pasta to fresh fish or vegetables'.
The Drummoyne store is open 7 days for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast offerings will include traditional patisserie goods and coffee. There is an impressive coffee roaster on site allowing Salt Meats Cheese to import and roast their beans, which are then used in the café and also available to purchase.
What can diners expect from the next branch of Salt Meats Cheese? 'Italian with a twist' says Co-Director Edoardo Perlo. 'We want to offer diners classic Italian with an unexpected twist.' There are delicious new pasta dishes such as the spinach and ricotta ravioli with French brie, sage and crispy pancetta. Salt Meats Cheese fans expecting to enjoy their favourites from the Alexandria and Mosman menus won't be disappointed, as there are cheese boards and truffle fries on offer! Kids can enjoy their own menu with options such as mini lasagna or gnocchi and meatballs.
The wood-fire oven will be fired up on a nightly basis with a similar menu to The Pizza Box (Alexandria), offering everything from classic margaritas to the famous black lobster pizza.
Those who want to shop for a while will find ample parking under the building. For those who are on the go, there will be a take away menu offering pastries, sandwiches and fresh juices.
