Salt Meats Cheese Is Moving!

Salt Meats Cheese

After opening in Bourke Road, Alexandria in 2012 Salt Meats Cheese will close the doors of the warehouse for the final time on March 15th 2016.

The good news is they're not moving far, just a stone's throw away at 21 Fountain St, Alexandria.

Set to open end of February, the new store will be occupying the old Cipro site in the same complex as Campos, Bread and Circus and Pana Chocolate.

'We will be sad to see the end of the warehouse where it all started, but we're excited to move forward in a new direction' says co-director Stefano de Blasi.

Open from 7am until 10pm daily, the new location will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as serve as the new base for the cooking school from May.

There will be a woodfire oven on site so diners can enjoy freshly baked goods from the early morning until the late night. The new location will have a similar menu to the Drummoyne store as well as offering a wine selection similar to that of the Mosman store.

With this news also comes the announcement of 5th store set to open at 66 Bay St, Ultimo in March. Conveniently located near Broadway shopping centre, it will cater to those after a quick coffee and cake as well as those who prefer to linger a little longer over a pizza and cocktail.

Food lovers who wish to visit the Bourke Road warehouse for one last shop (truffle pecorino anyone?) will have to get in quick!
