John Legend gave Chrissy Teigen a giant Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese Wheel last Christmas and now it's rolled all the way to Salt Meats Cheese Broadway! After the overwhelming response at the Broadway store launch, where hot cheesy truffle pasta was served directly from the wheel, Salt Meats Cheese is set to bring this unforgettable dining experience to all of its customers.
Starting from the 25th May, Salt Meats Cheese will be serving up delicious hot pasta straight out of a huge Parmesan wheel, exclusively at its Broadway restaurant. Every Wednesday night, pasta lovers will be treated to fresh Strozzapreti with flamed Brandy and cacio e pepe (cheese and pepper), at $25 per head.
This simple yet exciting way of serving pasta involves hollowing out a wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano until it resembles a bowl. Warm brandy is then poured into the wheel and set alight until the alcohol burns off, leaving nothing but pure melted cheese goodness. Piping hot pasta is then added and stirred, as each strand is coated with a mouth-watering cheese sauce.
