Ruffa Guttierez Visit to The edge Bali - INDONESIA

The edge Bali

On February 16th, 2015, The edge Bali welcomed a well-renown guest from The Philippines, Miss Ruffa Guttierez, who was enjoying her break vacationing around Asia. Her trip in Bali was arranged by The Luxe Nomad, an avid supporter of The edge.

“I'm very happy that they have made the right choice… The edge villa is amazing”, she mentioned during her interview with local media.

Ms Guttierez and her partner arrived at the villa at 2.30 p.m, after being picked up from Ubud. The arrival was followed by a short meet & greet with The edge's General Manager, Herman Kemp, and a tour around the property. The tour ended with afternoon tea delights in their private villa.

She developed love for the island since the first time she came for a visit. She had previously stayed in Seminyak, Jimbaran, and Nusa Dua. On this trip, Ms Guttierez had the chance to visit Ubud and Uluwatu for the first time, and she would love to come back again for her birthday in June.

“There's just many things to do you know (in Bali). You can go surfing, go out – enjoy the nightlife, if you want Yoga, or if you just want to swim or relax.”

While enjoying her break, the former Miss World Asia & Oceania also keep herself busy with checking the progress of her upcoming label, “LoVe Collection” which is planned to be launched in March. This collection will feature “affordable yet couture” clothing for children, both boys and girls sized 1 – 14. The plan is that everyone should be able to purchase as there will be a website and delivery across Asia.

After two days touring around Uluwatu including a visit to the local “kecak” site, Ms Guttierez left The edge on February 18th, 2015. With a heavy heart the management and staff escorted her to the car but she left with a wonderful message on how to stay happy:

“Life is short, so choose to be happy. Don't sweat the small stuff and choose your battle.“

Short footages from her trip in Bali will be available for viewing later this year in “Season 3: It Takes Gutz To Be A Guttierez”.
