Hop-On Hop-Off CitySightseeing Tour Red Route - Hollywood

Stop 1  Begin in the heart of Hollywood at  Musso & Franks, the oldest restaurant in Hollywood.  In the 1920's, when movies were silent and Hollywood was dotted with cafeterias and grills, Jean Rue, Musso's most tenured and famous chef, created the menu that exists today.  It has been loved and frequented by celebrities for more than 90 years, largely because of their waiters, some there more than 50 years.  The restaurant has its own fan site.

Nearby is the Roosevelt Hotel, home of the Original Academy Awards where Douglas Fairbanks hosted the dinner and presentations in 1929.  Home of the stars when viewing their movie premiers at Grauman's Chinese Theatre, the historic hotel's 25 Degrees is “not just another place for an ordinary burger”, but a spot to see and be seen, with its windows on the Walk of Fame.

Stop 5   Ryan Seacrest's high-end restaurant, BOA, is a celeb favorite where TMZ often captures stars. Tyler Perry, Vanessa Williams and Mel Gibson have been spotted.

Stop 7  Villa Blanca, the restaurant featured in “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” is owned by cast member Lisa Vanderpump, and the rest of the cast frequently stops by.

Also available on Stop 7, the hot spot for curbing a craving for celebrities at all hours of the day and night – the Sprinkles Cupcakes automatic dispensary (it's an ATM for cupcakes at 2 a.m.)

Stop 9  Ivy, the restaurants stars use it to leak news of a new love, or get noticed after a dry publicity spell.  Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck chose the spot after cancelling their extravagant wedding, and the restaurant is also featured in movies, such as Get Shorty, where John Travolta and Danny Devito meet, and The Body Guard, where Whitney Houston signs an autograph for a young fan against Kevin Costner's protests.

Stop 11  Short Order –-imagined by celebrity chefs Amy Pressman and Nancy Silverton under the clock at the Original Farmers Market, it's a homey, comfortable spot for organic, artisanal choices and a favorite with foodie fans.

Stop 13  Pink's Hot Dogs – the iconic sign is featured in many movies for the establishing shot.  Movie stars show up to unveil their signature dog, such as Betty White's 'naked dog'.

Also near Stop 13, famed Osteria Mozza, recently visited by Michelle Obama and where Eva Longoria and Victoria Beckham have been spotted.  It has a freestanding mozzarella bar.

Stop 15  Katsuya, a celebrity favorite, features the dynamic pairing of Master Sushi Chef Katsuya Uechi and design impresario Philippe Starck, where Jessica Simpton, Taylor Swift, Jason Statham, and the Jonas Brothers have enjoyed, and nearby, inside the Redbury Hotel, Cleo, with its open kitchen of Mediterranean charm mixed with Hollywood glam, is a hot spot to be seen.
