Royal Plaza on Scotts(RP) has been awarded with Gold and Bronze Adrian Awards for digital marketing excellence for its two winning entries in the 57th annual Adrian Awards. The competition organised by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI), is the largest and most prestigious travel marketing competition globally.

This year's contest attracted more than 1,200 entries from around the world, with entries judged by top executives from all sectors of the industry.  Mr Patrick Fiat, General Manager of Royal Plaza on Scotts, has received the awards at the annual HSMAI Adrian Awards Gala, a black-tie affair attended by more than 1,000 hospitality, travel and tourism marketing executives in New York.

Royal Plaza on Scotts' entry in the Digital Marketing Campaign Category – Integrated Marketing Campaign for Consumer clinched the gold award whilst its entry in the Digital Marketing Single Entries Category – Social Media Social Networking bagged the bronze award. To grab the attention of potential guests and encourage them to make Royal Plaza on Scotts their choice, the Marketing team has come up with a “Mystery Deal” tool on the hotel's booking website to offer exclusive promotional rates and value-added inclusions that matter to guests, such as buffet breakfast. The team also posts daily updates on the hotel's Facebook page to enhance engagement with guests and provide individualised experiences for them. The engagement with guests on Facebook also allows the hotel to add a personal touch to their stays to surprise those celebrating special occasions during their stay. Through the positive feedback shared by regular guests on Facebook, other fans of the hotel's page have also become loyal guests of the hotel.
