Singapore -  Royal Plaza on Scotts (RP) has been crowned Asia Pacific's Best Independent Hotel at the prestigious 25th Annual TTG Travel Awards 2014. The accolade adds on to the list as the hotel's eighth consecutive win.

Winners of the various award categories were voted by a panel compromising of Asia Pacific's most prominent travel suppliers and TTG readers across the region. Votes were casted for the best, based on services and facilities, range of value-added benefits and most professional sales and marketing team.

The hotel is continuously updating its menu of offerings to stay relevant to guests. From pioneering a range of value-added benefits such as complimentary high-speed Internet access for multiple devices, mini-bars that are replenished daily and gourmet coffee from the in-room Nespresso machines, the hotel now includes healthier choices and snacks in its mini-bars for health conscious travellers. To make guests' stay more comfortable, RP has also implemented a feedback system to listen actively to in-house guests and their needs. Prior to arrival, guests will receive an email to update on their stay and request for special arrangements. When in-house, guests can provide feedback which will be received and acted upon by the relevant departments in real time.
