This coming Valentine's Day let InterContinental Hong Kong provide the electrifying venue to ignite romance. On Friday, February 14th, 2014 our celebrated restaurants are featuring special Valentine’s menus, highlighted by superb cuisine, attentive yet discreet service and dramatic harbour views.

Couples “Cooking with the Culinary Stars” Classes
In preparation for Valentine’s Day, on Sat, February 8th, our “Cooking with the Culinary Stars” and Baking Club Classes will be Couple’s Classes. Share the Cooking Class or Baking Club with your loved one as you learn to make a romantic dinner for two or Valentine’s desserts.
Executive Pastry Chef Cyril Dupuis will share his recipes for Vanilla/Olive Oil Macaroons, Mango/Chestnut Napoleon and French style Apple Pie .
Alternatively , you and your special someone can join the NOBU culinary team with Chef Oyvind Naesheim, Sushi Chef Hideki Endo and Pastry Chef Laurence Yeung and learn to make Nobu house special rolls, Nobu’s famous Black Cod Miso and special Nobu Valentine’s desserts.
Limited to 10 persons, the Saturday, February 8th Classes begin with a light breakfast at 10:30am and last until 2:30pm, as the class includes lunch with wine or sake. Each class is HK$1,888 per person.

SPOON by Alain Ducasse
2-Michelin stars
For an intimate dinner, sure to impress, reserve a table at the 2-Michelin star SPOON by Alain Ducasse, featuring contemporary French cuisine inspired by world-famous chef Alain Ducasse.
On Friday, February 14th, SPOON Executive Chef Philippe Duc is creating a 6-course dinner at HK$4,988 for 2 persons inclusive of 10% service charge. The special menu starts with Gold Caviar to Share, followed by “Lumaconi” pasta-lobster-truffle sealed Cocotte. Next are Wellington-style Beef Fillet and Duck Foie Gras, followed by Coeur Saint-Felix. To refresh the palette, Raspberry-Lychee. For dessert, Chocolate-Passion Composition
To enjoy wine paring, with four wines selected by Chief Sommelier Mathieu Ginglardi, please add HK$1,088 per person plus 10% service charge.
NOBU InterContinental Hong Kong
NOBU InterContinental will celebrate Valentine’s Day with a special Omakase Valentine’s Day Menu. As per Nobu Matsuhisa, “I always put something special in my food – my heart or “kokoro” as we call it in Japanese.”
NOBU Executive Chef Oyvind Naesheim will present a special 8-course Valentine’s menu at HK$3,988 for 2 persons inclusive of 10% service charge. The menu features a starter of
Ankimo with foie gras miso, Botan Ebi Bottarga with dry miso and Toro Sashimi with jalapeño.
Next is Konbo Cured Nodoguro with Iberico ham and yuzu honey pepper. This is followed by
Langoustine Harumaki with an oyster leaf, tade sauce and then, Turbot Confit with ikura and jalapeño. Next is Japanese Wagyu, with Foie Gras and red wine glace and teriyaki.
Following a Deluxe Sushi Assortment and Clear Soup, indulge in a special dessert by NOBU Pastry Chef Laurence Yeung entitled “Tender Love” consisting of cocoa wasabi mousse, pistachio candy and peach schnapps foam
THE STEAK HOUSE winebar + grill
1- Michelin star
For a “hearty” meal, the newly Michelin starred THE STEAK HOUSE winebar + grill presents a
4-course dinner at HK$4,388 for 2 persons inclusive of 10% service charge.
The special menu by STEAK HOUSE Chef Calvin Choi starts with a Deluxe Salad Buffet, followed by Seared Hokkaido Scallops and Applewood Bacon Ball with Citrus Dressing. For the main course, guests can choose either the combination of Australian G9 Wagyu Tenderloin, Japan A5 Hida Tenderloin and US Tenderloin (3 oz each) or Baked Boston Lobster with Black Truffle and Pesto. Both main course options are served with baked mushrooms with mashed potatoes, heirloom carrots and green asparagus. For dessert, Executive Pastry Chef Cyril Dupuis is showcasing a special dessert called “Forever Love” made of Coconut, Lemongrass and Ginger.
Yan Toh Heen
1-Michelin star
The hotel’s 1-Michelin star Cantonese restaurant, Yan Toh Heenpromises a memorable evening with its stunning new décor and harbourviews. Executive Chef Lau Yiu Fai presents an 8-course set menu at HK$3,200 for two persons inclusive of 10% service charge.
The menu showcases Crispy Crab Claw with Crabmeat, Braised Imperial Bird’s Nest stuffed in Bamboo Piths and Crab Roe, followed by Wok-fried Prawns with Figs served in a Wheat Flour Basket. This is followed by Golden Wagyu Beef with Spicy Salt and Duck Liver. Next are Wok-fried Cod Fish and White Asparagus served in a Casserole. Inaniwa Udon with Whole Abalone is then served. Finally, indulge in the ”‘Swan Lake' dessert which is made of Rose-scented Panna Cotta with a Duo of Pastry Swans. Hangzhou Osmanthus tea completes the meal.
Lobby Lounge
With its dramatic panoramic harbourview, the Lobby Lounge offers romantic options for Valentine’s Day.
Enjoy a 3-course menu at HK$1,618 for 2 persons inclusive of 10% service charge. The menu features an appetizer combination of Prawns with Black Olive Sauce in Nicoise Salad, Scottish Smoked Salmon with Kristal Caviar, Tartar Tuna with Avocado in Lemon Dressing and Parma Ham with Melon.
For the main course, enjoy Black Cod with Scallops Ravioli and Pesto sauce. For a sweet finish to a romantic dinner, Executive Pastry Chef Cyril Dupuis has created a quartet of desserts that includes Pistachio/Pear Cake, Ispahan, Lychee/Raspberry/Rose, Blackberry Tea Chocolate Cake and Citrus/Saffron Pannacotta. Finally, enjoy freshly brewed coffee or fine Mariage Freres Tea and Valentine’s Petits Fours.
Begin or end your romantic evening with cocktails in the Lobby Lounge, with the stunning backdrop of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island.
From 9:00pm onwards on Valentine’s Night in the Lobby Lounge, relax over drinks and take in the spectacular view while listening to the live jazz music and romantic ballads performed by our featured guest artist Nicole Berke and a live quartet.
