Palm Springs plays host to �Rocktoberfest�, the free weekend-long rock n� roll music festival taking place in downtown Palm Springs from 26 to 28 September 2003. The musical tribute event will feature celebrity bands, a classic car show, memorabilia, Kids Zone and parade for fans to meet their idols and autograph hunt. Legendary rocker Fabian will be hosting the entire event as well as performing some of his greatest hits. Other star acts in the line-up include: � Lesley Gore (�You Don�t Own Me�, �It�s My Party�) � B.J. Thomas (�Raindrops Keep Fallin� On My Head�) � Shirley Alston Reeves, original lead singer of The Shirelles and �Rock �n� Roll Hall of Fame inductee (�Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow�, �Dedicated to the One I Love�) � Charlie Thomas, original lead singer of The Drifters and �Rock �n� Roll Hall of Fame inductee (�Up on the Roof�, �Under the Broadwalk�)
